The only thing tougher than getting someone to open an email is getting them to open an email that comes from internal audit. The solution? Clickbait!

Following are some subject lines you might use to get th​at reluctant auditee to open your latest missive.

 

"Think this is a normal audit report? Just wait until you look inside​!"

"An audit was performed over accounts payable. You won’t believe what happens next!"

"They knew a report on IT controls was due. But when they opened this email, they were speechless!"

"When you read these shocking facts, you’ll never want to work in your department again!"

"Only one in fifty people can identify this risk. Can you?​"

"Weird audit findings you’ve never heard before!"

"When I saw what they did for corrective actions, I was speechless!"

"Internal audit wrote an audit report with issues that could shock (and disgust) almost anyone!"

"This guy did the coolest, but possibly most illegal, audit ever!"

"What this department does to survive is actually pretty genius!"

"Chief Audit Executives fear him. What is his secret?"

"They finished the review of petty cash. What happened next blew my mind!"

"They gave the auditors a standing ovation. Can you guess why?"​
