Happy New Year!

As we begin this new year, I am excited to introduce three new InternalAuditor.org blogs that will greatly expand the insights and perspectives presented by you, our readers. The blogs are all part of our new Your Voices section, which will feature a variety of voices from the profession and beyond.

The blogs include:

  • Building a Better Auditor, which will appear on Tuesdays and focus on career advancement, from staff to CAE.
  • On the Frontlines, which will post on Wednesdays and will examine topical issues around assurance and advice.
  • IAm, which will appear on Thursdays, and offer an intimate glimpse into the lives of internal auditors at and away from work.

This week's lineup kicks off today with "Reflections on the Path to CAE," by Uber Chief Audit Executive Dominique Vincenti. She explores reaching the highest levels of the internal audit profession by setting goals and networking. You can read it here.

Also appearing this week:

  • Wednesday — "What a Long, Strange Trip It Has Been," by Glenda Ostrander, director of internal audit, Gwinnett County Public Schools in Suwanee, Georgia (On the Frontlines)
  • Thursday — "IAm Valentina Kostenyuk Sabet" (IAm), by Valentina Kostenyuk Sabet, Risk & Controls Lead at Intel, Leixlip, Ireland

We want you! Add your voice to the chorus of practitioners from around the globe who will educate and inspire our readers. To learn how to submit a post for one of the three new blogs, click here.

These new blogs are just the beginning of our strategy to present new perspectives and insights in novel and innovative ways throughout 2021. Voice your voice through one of our three new blogs today and stay tuned for additional opportunities to share your perspectives!
